What is the Morse code alphabet?
The International Morse Code assigns a unique pattern of dots (.) and dashes (-) to each letter: A is .-, B is -..., C is -.-., and so on through Z (--...). Numbers 0-9 and common punctuation marks also have codes. Our tool includes a full interactive alphabet chart.
How do you read Morse code?
Read Morse code by matching each group of dots and dashes to a letter. A dot (.) is a short signal and a dash (-) is a long signal (3x the length of a dot).
