What You Get
Professional ping test tool that measures your internet latency (ping time in milliseconds), jitter (variation in ping), and packet loss. Results help you understand if your connection is suitable for gaming, video calls, or streaming.
Input: Click Start Test
Output: Average ping: 25ms, Jitter: 3ms, Packet loss: 0%
Input: Gaming connection test
Output: Rating: Excellent - Perfect for competitive gaming
Input: Video call quality check
Output: Rating: Good - Suitable for HD video conferencing
What is a good ping for gaming?
For competitive gaming, you want ping under 30ms (excellent). Ping between 30-60ms is good for most games. Above 100ms you may experience noticeable lag. For FPS and fighting games, lower is always better.
Why test multiple servers?
Our tool tests 4 global servers (Wow1, Cloudflare, Google, Amazon) simultaneously. This shows your latency to different regions and helps identify if issues are with your connection or specific server locations. Your "Best Connection" rating uses the fastest server result.
How do I lower my ping?
To reduce ping: 1) Use a wired Ethernet connection instead of WiFi, 2) Close background applications using bandwidth, 3) Restart your router, 4) Choose game servers closer to your location, 5) Contact your ISP if issues persist.
What is jitter and why does it matter?
Jitter is the variation in ping times. Even if your average ping is low, high jitter causes inconsistent performance. For gaming and video calls, jitter under 10ms is ideal. High jitter can cause stuttering and lag spikes.
What is packet loss?
Packet loss occurs when data packets fail to reach their destination. Even 1-2% packet loss can cause issues in real-time applications like gaming or video calls. 0% packet loss is ideal.
Why is my ping high?
High ping can be caused by: WiFi interference, network congestion, distance to servers, ISP throttling, outdated router firmware, or too many devices on your network. Try running the test at different times to identify patterns.
How accurate is this ping test?
This test measures actual round-trip time to 4 global servers (Cloudflare in Europe, Google globally, Amazon in US East, and our server). Results may vary slightly from in-game ping due to different server locations, but provide an accurate picture of your overall connection quality.
Is this ping test free?
Yes, 100% free with no limits. Run unlimited tests. No signup, no ads, no downloads required.
Does this test store my data?
No. All testing happens in your browser. We do not log, store, or share any test results or personal information.
100% client-side processing. Your test results are not stored or shared.
