A Palworld player has demonstrated impressive ingenuity by constructing a vast city, all without relying on any mods to develop their virtual urban stronghold.
Reddit user Commercial_Neck8986 has posted a screenshot and a video of their Palworld base, revealing the process of building an entire urban-themed settlement named Palcity. Commercial_Neck8986 states that it took them two weeks to finish their base without employing any mods.

When accused of using a mod to construct Palcity, the Redditor responded, ‘To keep the weight off, I hauled stone without the utilization of mods.’ They explained that the abundant presence of trees made it convenient to procure the required wood for roofing. As seen in numerous videos shared by Commercial_Neck8986, Palcity is notably extensive, featuring stone gates, various edifices and residences, and an enclosing wall that encompasses the entirety of Palcity, creating a self-contained refuge.
In another response, Commercial_Neck8986 mentioned the facilitation of storage placement near a palbox, simplifying the conveyance of all necessary materials for transforming Palcity into a colossal fortress.
The absence of mods in Commercial_Neck8986’s creation of Palcity is truly remarkable. In contrast, some creators have developed save files for basic bases. Additionally, there exists a mod called Duck’s Progressive Bases, enabling players to readily expand their Palworld bases.
In our PC early access review of Palworld, we acknowledged: ‘Palworld may draw inspiration from Pokémon’s groundwork, yet its profound survival mechanics and lighthearted demeanor make it irresistibly engaging – even during Early Access.’
