How do I extract images from a PDF?

How do I copy text from a PDF?

Upload PDF, select Text mode. Extracted text can be copied to clipboard or downloaded. Works on digital PDFs only.

Can I extract text from scanned PDFs?

No. Scanned PDFs contain images, not text data. Use OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software for scanned documents.

What image quality do I get from extraction?

Images are extracted at their original resolution and quality. No compression is applied during extraction.

What image formats are extracted from PDFs?

Images are extracted in their original format, typically JPEG or PNG. Format depends on how images were embedded.
