How do I calculate percentage increase or decrease?
Formula: ((New - Old) ÷ Old) × 100. Example: $80 to $100 = ((100-80) ÷ 80) × 100 = 25% increase. Enter both values in Change mode.
How do I calculate a discount price?
20% off $80: Discount = $80 × 0.20 = $16. Final price = $80 - $16 = $64. Use the Percent Of mode with your discount percentage.

Formula: (Part ÷ Whole) × 100. Example: 45 is what % of 180? = (45 ÷ 180) × 100 = 25%. Use the What Percent mode.
