What counts as a citation?
Text in quotation marks and common citation patterns (Author, Year) are detected and can be excluded.
Does it count headers?
Yes, all text is counted by default. Most professors count headers as part of word count.
How accurate is the word count?
Very accurate! We use the same method as Microsoft Word – splitting by whitespace.
Can I save my text?
