What are the current character limits?
Twitter/X: 280, Instagram caption: 2,200, LinkedIn post: 3,000, Facebook: 63,206, TikTok: 2,200.
Do URLs count toward the limit?
On Twitter, URLs are shortened to 23 characters regardless of length. Other platforms count full URL length.
What about emojis?
Most emojis count as 2 characters due to Unicode encoding. Our counter shows the accurate platform count.
Are hashtags counted?
Yes, hashtags count as regular characters including the # symbol.
