How do I create a calendar event QR code?

Enter event title, set start and end date/time, add location and description. Scanning adds the event to any calendar app.

Why does the event time shift when scanned?

Time zones can cause shifts. Events are stored in local time without timezone info. Verify the timezone matches your audience.

Are end date and time required for the event?

No, but recommended. Without end time, the event may show as all-day. Set duration for better calendar display.

Can I add reminders to the calendar event?

Not with the QR. Reminders are set in the calendar app after adding the event. Users can customize notifications.

Which calendar apps support this QR format?

Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and most other calendar apps support the iCalendar/VEVENT format we use.

Is my event data stored anywhere?

No. Generated 100% locally in your browser. Your event details never leave your device.

Can I use this for recurring events?

This creates single events. Recurring events require series setup in the calendar after adding the base event.

What is the maximum event description length?

Keep descriptions brief. Long text increases QR complexity which reduces scannability. Use key details only.

Your data never leaves your device. QR codes are generated locally in your browser.
