How do I create a SEPA payment QR code?
Enter receiver name, IBAN (spaces removed automatically), optional BIC, amount in EUR, and payment reference. Banking apps scan to initiate payment.
Why does my QR scanner show text instead of payment form?
SEPA/EPC QR codes must be scanned with a banking app (ING, N26, Revolut, etc.), not a regular camera. Banking apps recognize the EPC format.
Which countries support SEPA payment QR codes?
All EU/EEA countries using SEPA. Most European banking apps support the EPC QR code standard.
Is EUR the only currency for SEPA QR codes?
Yes. The EPC/SEPA standard only supports Euro transfers. Other currencies require different payment methods.
Is the SEPA QR payment secure?
The QR only contains payment info. Actual transfer requires user confirmation in their banking app with PIN/biometrics.
Do I need the BIC/SWIFT code?
Optional but recommended. Without BIC, some banks take longer to route the payment. Include for faster processing.
Is my bank account information stored anywhere?
No. Generated 100% locally in your browser. Your IBAN and banking data never leave your device.
Can I use this for invoices?
Yes. Perfect for invoices, donation pages, and payment requests. Customer scans to pay with pre-filled amount and reference.
